Breakfast Blend is our medium-light roast everyday morning coffee, blended from natural and washed specialty-grade beans. It features tasting notes of caramel, mellow dark chocolate, and clean fruit-like sweetness, with a creamy mouthfeel. It works well for drip, pour-over, and French press.

About this blend
Breakfast Blend combines specialty-grade beans from three growing regions chosen to balance each other in the cup. Central American beans contribute the mellow dark chocolate depth. South American beans add caramel sweetness and a smooth, creamy body. East African beans bring the clean fruit-like brightness that lifts the cup without crossing into sharp or acidic territory. We use both natural-process and washed-process beans in the blend. Natural-process coffees dry inside the whole cherry, which pushes more fruit and sugar into the bean. Washed-process coffees remove the cherry before drying, which produces a cleaner, more transparent cup. Blending the two gives Breakfast Blend a familiar, approachable morning profile that holds up across drip, pour-over, and French press. We air-roast to a medium-light development, which preserves the origin sweetness and keeps the finish smooth rather than smoky or heavy.

Q: Is Breakfast Blend low acid? It is on the milder end. The medium-light roast keeps acidity balanced rather than sharp, and our air-roasting method tends to produce a cleaner cup than traditional drum roasting. If you are looking for a verified low-acid coffee for sensitive stomachs, Haiti Hope Rising is the better pick. For a generally gentle morning cup, Breakfast Blend works for most people.
Q: Do you offer ground coffee, or whole bean only? Both. Select whole bean or ground at checkout. If you choose ground, we grind to a medium setting that works well for most drip coffee makers. Whole bean is the better choice for freshness since ground coffee loses flavor noticeably faster.
Q: Can I subscribe and save? Yes. Subscribe to Breakfast Blend and save 10 percent on every order. Select delivery frequency at checkout (every 2, 4, or 6 weeks) and we roast and ship on that schedule. Pause, skip, or cancel anytime with no fees and no friction.
Q: When is my coffee roasted? We do not pre-roast and warehouse inventory. We roast to order and ship within 2 to 3 days. The exact roast date is printed on every bag. Coffee is at or near peak freshness 4 to 14 days after roast, when the flavors are most developed.
